Job Summary
We are a growing driving school based in Derby seeking an experienced Web Design Professional to manage, develop, and continuously improve our digital presence. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for website design and maintenance but also for ensuring effective online lead capture across multiple digital platforms to support business growth.
This role is suited to a technically competent and commercially aware web professional who understands how design, functionality, and digital marketing intersect to generate customer enquiries.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to define website, system, and lead-generation requirements in line with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain the company website and associated web and mobile applications.
- Ensure ongoing website maintenance, performance optimisation, security updates, and content updates.
- Design and present web design options, layouts, and user journeys aligned with brand standards.
- Develop visually effective web pages incorporating graphics, animations, and interactive functionality.
- Implement and manage online lead capture mechanisms, including enquiry forms, booking systems, landing pages, and call-to-action features.
- Integrate and optimise leads from online platforms such as Google, social media channels, and third-party directories.
- Design and manage web interfaces connected to relational database systems and customer management tools.
- Monitor website analytics and lead performance, making data-driven improvements to maximise conversion rates.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and compliance with relevant web standards and data protection requirements
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Proven experience in website design, development, and ongoing maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in lead generation, online enquiry systems, and conversion optimisation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective digital solutions.
Relevant Degree/Diploma or course
